Eat Pray Love nih actually based on tru story di adaptasi dr sebuah novel yg ditulis oleh Liz Gilbert di mana menceritakan ttg pengalaman penulis itu sendiri dalam mencari keseimbangan dlm hidup...
Before i describe furher about EPL nih..biar i share dulu quotes from EPL yg worth to share...(i tau u olls bukannyer rajin banget nk baca karangan pepanjang kan2x?? hihi)
Huh! sebenarnyer banyak sgt quotes2 yg menarik..bole kata every words yg keluar sumer indah2 jek...tp yg paling feveret and the best part ialah...drum roll plsssss!!!!
I hope the following quotes will encourage you to eat well, pray regularly and love passionately.
- “People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. “
- “Look for God. Look for God like a man with his head on fire looks for water.”
- “In desperate love, we always invent the characters of our partners, demanding they be what we need of them, and then feeling devastated when they refuse to perform the role we created in the first place.”
- “We’re miserable because we think that we are mere individuals, alone with our fears and flaws and resentment and mortality.”
- “Your treasure – your perfection – is within you already. But to claim it, you must leave the busy commotion of the mind and abandon the desires of the ego and enter into the silence of the heart.”
- “You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life so bad, work on the mind. That’s the only thing you should be trying to control.”
- “In a world of disorder and disaster and fraud, sometimes only beauty can be trusted. The appreciation of pleasure can be an anchor to one’s humanity.”
- “God is an experience of supreme love.”
- “Learning how to discipline your speech is a way of preventing your energies from spilling out of you through the rupture of your mouth, exhausting you and filling the world with words, words, words instead of serenity, peace and bliss.”
- “There is a reason they call God a presence – because God is right here, right now. In the present is the only place to find Him, and now is the only time.”
Liz holds her ex-husband in her thoughts. She holds him with love and release. And feels his pain.
“I really did love you,” she tells him.
“I know, But I still love you. I miss you” he replies.
“So love me,” says Liz in her wise Richard voice. “Miss me. … and then drop it.”
Feel the feelings. Don’t pick up the story. That’s what being awake’s about.
It won’t last forever. Nothing does.
Oh, and believe in love again...huhu

Little bit story
At 32 years old, Elizabeth Gilbert was educated, had a home, a husband, and a successful career as a writer. However, she was unhappy in her marriage and often spent the night crying on her bathroom floor. After separating from her husband and initiating adivorce, which he contested, she embarked on a rebound relationship which continued for some time but did not work out, leaving her devastated and alone.
Afterwards, while writing an article on yoga vacations in Bali, Gilbert met a ninth-generation medicine man who told her she would one day come back and study with him. After finalizing her difficult divorce, Gilbert spent the next year traveling around the world. The trip was paid for in advance with a book deal from the publisher.[6]
She spent four months in Italy, eating and enjoying life ("Eat"). She spent four months in India, finding her spirituality ("Pray"). She ended the year in Bali, Indonesia, looking for "balance" of the two and found love ("Love") in the form of a dashing Brazilian factory owner.[7]
